You do not have to micromanage every little detail, but a little bit of planning will go a long way. We’ve done our best to give you some pointers on not only what’s available to eat from snack carts and Quick Service restaurants to Signature dining and everything in between with our extensive Restaurants and Menus area and Search Tool. Starting May 16, Chef Mickey&rsquos will offer an all-you-care-to-enjoy family-style dinner that will include 'no touch' appearances like snapping a selfie or waving hello as Mickey Mouse and some of his favorite pals make surprising appearances in each of the dining rooms. Similar to other character dining locations, guests will take home a souvenir with character signatures and colorful artwork.
Cape May Café at Disney&rsquos Beach Club Resort reopens on May 18th! Guests returning to Cape May Café will find old favorites and new changes, along with its signature service and quality. The restaurant will serve breakfast and dinner, but Minnie&rsquos Beach Bash Character Breakfast and the Seafood-and-More Dinner Buffet will not return at reopening.
The guest-favorite character dining location at Disney&rsquos Animal Kingdom Theme Park, Tusker House Restaurant, will reopen this summer! During the modified character experience, guests will enjoy delicious family-style entrees inspired by the flavors of Africa and can snap photos of Donald Duck and friends, dressed in their safari best as they promenade through the restaurant.
Select table service restaurants at Walt Disney World now have Disney Table Service To Go. This feature within the My Disney Experience app allows guests to place a to-go order at participating dining locations. After choosing your arrival time window via the app, guests are informed of the process, as well as the need for patience as the food that's been ordered will be made to order, and will take time just as it would if the food was being ordered at a table.
Guests will be notified when their order is ready, and will then be asked to head to the restaurant to pick their order up.

Because creating the look of wet hair is challenging in animation, artists asked volunteers who had similar hairstyles as Moana to come to the Walt Disney Animation Studios to be dunked in water! Since Moana spends time underwater, it was important for filmmakers to portray her hair realistically.
The Trust was made up of anthropologists, educators, linguists, master tattooists, choreographers, haka practitioners, master navigators, and cultural advisors that the filmmakers had met on various research trips to the Pacific Islands. This group helped advise and inform filmmakers of Pacific Island culture in an effort to make the film’s cultural references and character representations. Filmmakers also collaborated with choreographers of Polynesian dance to create dances for Moana and Maui . Artists were also able to learn the meaning behind each dance movement. Amazing!
What did you think about these fun Moana facts? Tell us in the comments, and don’t forget Moana is available on Digital HD, Blu-ray, and DVD, on Disney Movies Anywhere!
